Matime has always been fascinated by investigations, whether it was crime, pathology, or even clinical investigations. With this keen interest in health and education, it came as no surprise that he found himself at the helm of a medical devices company, without any prior exposure to this field!

To always stay ahead and ensure he was constantly increasing his knowledge base, Matime would find himself reading a lot of books and articles about wound care and he made sure to attend basic wound care training, conferences and seminars.

His journey as Founder and now CEO of Maisha Medical began in 2012.

Matime, holds several qualifications which include:

• MPhil in Corporate Strategy from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (University of Pretoria)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Management, specialising in Corporate Governance from Monash University.
